Australian trio
DMA'S are set to release a self-titled fifth record on 7th August through Wonderlick Entertainment/Sony Music Australia/RCA UK, alongside dropping new single
'Heatin Park'.Matt Mason says of the track and the upcoming record: "'Heatin Park' started as an old forgotten demo banged into a new sound for us and that collision is what gives it its feral energy. The album is called DMA'S because that's exactly what it is and we're keen to bring it home and play for you all".
An official video for 'Heatin Park', shot across locations in the UK and Melbourne, is also out now. The single arrives after '
My Baby's Place', which was shared back in March.
Sessions for the album took place between the band's studio in Glebe, Sydney and LA. DMA'S co-produced the majority of the record with Grammy-nominated producer Lach Bostock of Mansionair fame, while Jimi Somewhere and Styalz Fuego also contributed to the production.
Alongside the album news, the band have confirmed a run of Australian headline shows for later this year.
