DRAIN have dropped new single ‘Who’s Having Fun?’, taken from forthcoming album ‘…IS YOUR FRIEND’

A limited 7-inch pressing arrives via Flatspot alongside a Ryan Baxley-directed video.

Artists: Drain

DRAIN are set to release their third album ‘…IS YOUR FRIEND’ on 7th November 2025 via Epitaph, and have shared new single ‘Who’s Having Fun?’ alongside a video directed by Ryan Baxley (Green Day, FIDLAR).

‘Who’s Having Fun?’ is the only track on the record where vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro sings, before shifting into his trademark growls. Its accompanying clip places the band outdoors — in the woods, against an ocean backdrop with rolling clouds, and on a Vespa. A limited edition 7-inch vinyl edition of ‘Who’s Having Fun?’ will be available via Flatspot.

DRAIN - "Who's Having Fun?"

“‘Who’s Having Fun?’ is summertime music written to be played really loud in the car with your friends and the windows down on a beautiful sunny day,” Ciaramitaro explains. “It’s what happens when you just write music that makes you feel happy and don’t really care about fitting into a box or meeting someone else’s genre criteria. DRAIN is gonna do whatever the hell we want. This was the first song that we wrote for this album – it started out as a pretty barebones punk rock song, but we kept adding little moments and flare and all the sudden we turned it into a badass song that truly encapsulates everything that DRAIN is. This song can be about whatever you want it to be – but I think when looking for the truth in life, a good rule of thumb is to ask yourself: Who’s Having Fun? Hopefully it’s you.”

The new album marks DRAIN’s second full-length for Epitaph. The band recorded with producer Jon Markson (The Story So Far, Drug Church, One Step Closer), tracking the record live with real-time drums and no metronome. The 10-track set was written with live performance in mind after extensive touring informed what resonates most onstage.

The tracklisting for ‘…IS YOUR FRIEND’ reads:

‘Stealing Happiness From Tomorrow’
‘Living In A Memory’
‘Scared Of Everything And Nothing’
‘Nothing But Love’
‘Can’t Be Bothered’
‘Loudest In The Room’
‘Nights Like These’
‘Who’s Having Fun?’
‘Darkest Days’
‘Until Next Time’
