El-P from Run The Jewels has a Pokemon Go remix competition going

If you haven’t been too busy wandering around looking into your phone over the past week or so, then you’ll realise that there’s a load of other people wandering around looking into their phones - but this time playing Pokemon Go. Lets just say El-P has noticed.

It started when El-P chucked a tweet out (I know, everything starts with Twitter) saying:

That didn’t go down well with the devoted Pokemon community,

That forced El-P to respond (naturally):

It continued, forcing El-P to drop the hottest freestyle so far this year - that’s talking about Pokemon and Pokemen… Fire

And now, he’s inviting everyone to come and remix that hot freestyle, and now they’ve been flocking in thick and fast - here’s a sample of some of the hottest beats so far.

So it’s been an eventful weekend. As long as Pikachu remains untouched, then we’re all good.
