Ellie Dixon has released ‘Loose Change’ and suited up for a new EP, ‘Tales of a Knight’

Singer-songwriter Ellie Dixon releases new single ‘Loose Change’ and announces upcoming EP ‘Tales of a Knight’ for June release.

Artists: Ellie Dixon

Ellie Dixon has announced her new EP ‘Tales of a Knight’, set for release on 13th June, alongside sharing new single ‘Loose Change’.

The track explores themes of neurodivergence and self-acceptance, with the EP following Dixon’s previous releases ‘Renaissance’, ‘Guts’, and ‘Knight Shift’.

‘Loose Change’ incorporates strings and varied production elements to reflect the experience of ADHD. “Loose Change is the closest thing to a look inside my brain – a twinkling, humming engine falling over itself,” Dixon says. “It was a splurge of consciousness when I had locked myself away in the studio during a difficult time of my life. I was going through therapy at the time and learning a lot about myself and how to understand and forgive myself for the way I am wired.”

Speaking about the EP, Dixon explains: “‘Tales of a Knight’ is a journey of self acceptance. These are stories from navigating a dark time of my life to find strength and softness. A love letter to processing anxiety, neurodivergence and big life changes. I got to play with so many musical influences – folk, rock, pop, hip hop, dnb – to create this hybrid soundscape that could hold the light and the dark. The hard and the soft. The playful and the gritty.”

Dixon has announced a series of UK and European tour dates in support of the release. The dates in full read:
