Ethel Cain has announced plans for a vinyl release of 'Preacher's Daughter' following her upcoming project 'Perverts'.
The new project is preceded by lead single 'Punish', which showcases a darkly ambient sound. Written, produced, and mixed by Cain herself, 'Perverts' explores sonic negative space while examining transcendence through physical and spiritual sensation, simulacrum, and vice. The work navigates the hyperreal, focusing on the emotional consequences of proximity to God and its impermanence.
The vinyl edition of 'Preacher's Daughter' will be available on 17th January 2025. 'Perverts', is due for release on 8th January 2025.
