The follow-up to 2021's '
The Bitter Truth' now has a name.
Evanescence have confirmed that their next full-length record will be called 'Sanctuary', arriving on 5th June.
Two tracks from the album are already available to hear. Alongside the previously released 'Afterlife', the band have shared '
Who Will You Follow', a collaboration with co-writers and producers Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish.
Speaking about the record, vocalist Amy Lee said: "This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It's overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up, or I wouldn't know what to do with myself now! I've been completely obsessed. I'm dying for the fans to hear this."
In full, the twelve-track album runs as follows: 'Beautiful Lie', 'Tell Me When You've Had Enough', '
Who Will You Follow', 'Rapture', 'Afterlife', 'Sanctuary', 'How Do I Heal', 'About Us', 'Calm Down', 'Self Destruct', 'Forever Without You' and 'Wide Open Heart'.
A sprawling world tour accompanies the release, stretching from North America through to Europe.
Spiritbox are set to join as support across US dates, while
Poppy will take on that role for UK and European shows.
Nova Twins round out bills in both the US and Europe, with
K.Flay opening at UK shows.
