Eyedress has teamed up with Mac DeMarco for a new single, ‘The Dark Prince’.
Out now via RCA Records, it marks the first of two joint singles from the pair, with a further track coming later this year.
A press release explains: “Longtime friends and collaborators, “The Dark Prince” was co-written by Eyedress and Mac alongside Zach Fogarty and John Hill. The upbeat, breezy love song blends both artists’ signature styles with distinctive vocals and off-kilter production, tapping into influences of ‘70s rock and guitar-laden bedroom pop. Accompanying the single is its surrealistic music video, starring Eyedress and Mac as they play guitars and hang out at a castle.”
