Fat Dog have shared a new remix of their track ‘Peace Song’ by TowerBlock1, the latest project from The KLF and The Orb’s Jimmy Cauty.
The new version, titled ‘Peace Song (A riot in Sydenham bus depot – TowerBlock1 mix)’, transforms elements of the original including Joe Love‘s vocals and the children’s choir into a more anarchic direction.
An accompanying animated video, directed by Evan Lawday with 3-D modelling from Luka Davlianidze, features characters from the original ‘Peace Song’ video breakdancing through South East London.
The band have recently performed at BBC 6 Music Festival and are preparing for a headline show at London’s Troxy. A 12″ vinyl release featuring both versions of ‘Peace Song’ will arrive on 15th August.
