Brighton trio Fever Rouge have shared their 'Feed The Villain' EP, led by new single 'Weatherman'.

Brighton trio Fever Rouge have released their new EP 'Feed The Villain' today (4th April), having shared new single 'Weatherman' last week.
The EP showcases the band's blend of post-punk, rock, and indie influences, drawing inspiration from artists like King Krule, Radiohead, Bloc Party and The Stone Roses, and was produced by Oliver Hughes, Josh Harrison and Louis Spanton.
"Feed the Villain captures that battle between the devil and the angel on your shoulder, its innocence corrupted, love obstructed and indulgence but not without guilt, there's too many villains in the world and music is one of the best ways to fight against that. Art has always been power and protest, we hope you enjoy," the band explain.
Speaking about lead single 'Weatherman', they add: "Weatherman is the most optimistic and fun track on the EP, we just wanted to make a song that was a straight up fuzzy, scuzzy rock and roll 'anthem'. I was thinking about the story of Icarus and how he flew too close to the sun. What would've happened if they got the forecast right? The song dabbles a little bit in commenting on issues of climate change, focusing on the corporate greed side of 'The Villain' because I had to be pretentious somewhere right?!!"
