Foo Fighters have dropped their twelfth studio album 'Your Favorite Toy'
New drummer Ilan Rubin makes his recorded debut with the band.

Foo Fighters have put out 'Your Favorite Toy', a ten-track record clocking in at 36 minutes that serves as the follow-up to 2023's 'But Here We Are'. Co-produced alongside Oliver Roman, known for his work with The Cribs and Wolfmother, the album was recorded at the band's home setup.
Notable among the personnel changes, drummer Ilan Rubin makes his recorded debut with the group on the LP, having stepped in after Josh Freese's departure last May. Tracks already familiar to listeners include 'Caught In The Echo' and the title track, while 'All of the People' was recently given a live airing at the 80-seat St James Church in Dingle, Ireland.
Speaking to Classic Rock, Dave Grohl said the album was "the most fun we've had making a record in years." He added that the band approached it with "no rules, no pressure — just the joy of plugging in and seeing what happens." Describing what emerged from those sessions, Grohl said it is "loud, it's melodic, it's weird in places… but it feels like us. It feels alive."
Foo Fighters are also lined up to perform on Saturday Night Live UK on Sky One on 25th April, before embarking on the Take Cover Tour.
That worldwide run begins with US shows from 28th April, including a sold-out opening night at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT. European dates follow from June, with a further stretch across North America through August and September. The band then head to Australia and New Zealand in November, continuing into January 2027.
