Grace Davies has shared a ‘live @ home’ session for her new single ‘i met a boy online’.

Self-filmed in her own living room, Grace explains: “‘i met a boy online’ is probably the most transparent song I’ve ever written. There aren’t really any metaphors or hidden messages within the lyrics, it’s just a straight-forward, sad-girl pop song.”

She adds: “I wrote it during lockdown, whilst I was experiencing self-doubt when talking to a boy I’d met on a dating app. Because of the lockdown restrictions, we were basically dating virtually – which was a really new and weird experience, and therefore I was left alone with my thoughts and started to doubt whether he would feel the same way about me if he actually met me in person.”

With more new material promised – there’s an EP on the way, apparently – you can check out the ‘live @ home’ session for ‘i met a boy online’ below.
