Harvest Rock will return to Adelaide in October with The Strokes and Jelly Roll headlining

The two-day event spotlights local food, wine, and tourism with government backing.

Adelaide’s Harvest Rock will return this October, with The Strokes and Jelly Roll confirmed as the festival’s headline acts.

The two-day multi-genre event will take place at Rymill & King Rodney Parks, Adelaide, across the weekend of 25th-26th October, following a fallow year in 2024. An initial plan to reveal the line-up earlier this month was delayed after organisers posted a teaser that prompted speculation linking the phrase ‘Is This It’ to The Strokes’ 2001 debut.

The Strokes are set to headline the first night in an Australian exclusive. The second day will be led by Jelly Roll, with his tourmates Shaboozey and Drew Baldridge also appearing. The War on Drugs, also in an Australian exclusive, and M.I.A. are confirmed for day one, with Groove Armada joining the international contingent on day two. Australian names on the bill include Vance Joy, Lime Cordiale, Wolfmother, The Presets, Royel Otis and PNAU.

Organisers teased the announcement with, “We know you were expecting the Harvest Rock lineup today, so, is this it?” they wrote. “Not quite yet. It’s hard to explain, but the lineup is still coming. More soon.”

Harvest Rock Festival Director Ryan Sabet described the 2025 edition as part of a long-term strategy to integrate large-scale live entertainment with regional cultural capital. “We’re thrilled to see Harvest Rock return to its Adelaide home to deliver a festival that brings global stadium-sized artists to South Australia, while also championing the region’s world-class food, wine and culture for interstate guests,” he explained. “Harvest Rock not only drives tourism and benefits local businesses, but offers a unique festival experience for all ages across the local community and beyond.”

Since launching in 2022, Harvest Rock has operated in the boutique city-based festival space. Previous editions have hosted Jack White, The Black Crowes and Khruangbin (2022), and Jamiroquai, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Beck and Bright Eyes (2023). Following a year off in 2024, its return was confirmed on 1st August with support from the state government and an expanded vision.
