Hayley Williams shares early demos from ‘Petals for Armor’ album on Instagram

Paramore’s Hayley Williams celebrates Petals for Armor’s fifth anniversary by releasing 22 early demo recordings on Instagram.

Hayley Williams has shared a collection of demo recordings from her debut solo album ‘Petals for Armor’ to mark its five-year anniversary.

The Paramore vocalist has uploaded 22 voice note clips featuring early versions of tracks that would later appear on the album, including lead single ‘Simmer’ and the boygenius collaboration ‘Roses, Lotus, Iris, Violet’.

Williams also shared an additional voice note containing a snippet of ‘Jumping Inside’, a track written during her pre-Paramore teenage years. In the recording, Williams can be heard saying: “I said I was going to try, I’m sorry. I can’t do it right now – I want to but I accidentally started making music.”

The vocalist has recently collaborated with Moses Sumney and appears alongside Blood Orange on Turnstile’s forthcoming album ‘NEVER ENOUGH’.
