iDKHOW have released a new version of ‘New Invention’ featuring Tessa Violet.

The original track features on the duo’s debut album ‘Razzmatazz’ – which saw them on the cover of Dork, no less – released in October 2020 via Fearless Records.

Lead singer Dallon Weekes says: “We had an opportunity to remix ‘New Invention’, and add in some of the elements that we use on stage that don’t appear in the album version. Like piano and backing singers. We wanted to make it even more different than that, so we reached out to Tessa Violet, who is amazing! Her voice is such a great addition, I really love how it turned out.”

Tessa adds: “I’m such a fan of iDKHOW, so I was super excited when they reached out to have me on ‘New Invention.’ The song is so seductive and mysterious and adding another voice makes it feel like a whole new take on the song, almost like a conversation happening – I can’t wait for everyone to hear this version.”

Give it a listen below.
