Idles and slowthai have teamed up for a new version of the former’s single ‘Model Village’.
The two acts performed the track as part of an hour-long special of Idles frontman Joe Talbot’s ‘Balley TV’. Titled ‘Defense Of The Arts’, it was made in collaboration with Vans.
Named after Talbot’s label Balley Records, previous guests have included Sharon van Etten, Jehnny Beth and Mike Skinner.
The new special also featured interviews and performances with the likes of Katy J Pearson, Deep Tan and Nuha Ruby Ra.
The new take on ‘Model Village’ has also been recorded as a studio version, and will be released on an exclusive 7″ vinyl. You can check that out below.
