Festivals: LIDO Festival

LIDO Festival has announced a new wave of acts for their inaugural event at Victoria Park, London, with Jamie xx set to headline.

The festival, taking place on 7th June at Victoria Park’s historic Lido Field, will see Jamie xx perform alongside a special back-to-back set with Nia Archives – marking Archives’ first-ever B2B performance. Additional new acts include Shy FX B2B Tim Reaper, Todd Edwards B2B Bullet Tooth, and Villager.

These artists join previously announced performers Arca, Sampha, Romy, DJ Harvey (performing a three-hour set), Panda Bear, John Glacier, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie, and livwutang.

“It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists,” says Jamie xx.

The festival will feature community-driven activities throughout the week, with an emphasis on sustainability. LIDO has established a partnership with East London Arts and Music (ELAM), offering students hands-on experience in festival production, technology, and the wider music industry.

Tickets are available from lidofestival.co.uk.
