Jeshi has shared a new single called ‘girls and boys’, continuing the rollout of his forthcoming mixtape ‘headrush’.
Released via Select Discs, the track follows recent singles ‘champagne’ and ‘at the wheel’, with the new project described as a celebration of the regional club “in all its forms”.
On ‘girls and boys’, Jeshi turns his attention to the strange intimacy of the club toilet queue, capturing the way fleeting conversations between strangers can suddenly become unexpectedly personal before disappearing again by the end of the night.
The release continues a run of club-focused material from the UK rapper, exploring what remains of contemporary nightlife culture and the spaces that still bring people together.
The new single follows a busy 2025 for Jeshi that included collaborations with Celeste, Leon Vynehall and Vegyn.
The Liverpool songwriter extends her debut album universe with a four-track collection of murder ballads.
