Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have released a new four-track EP, 'Megz of Ram'
The Strokes' frontman's side project releases a synth-heavy, post-punk EP produced by Chris Tabron in a historic East Village basement.
Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have released their new EP 'MęĞż øF rÅm' (Megz of Ram), a four-track collection.
The EP was recorded in the same East Village basement where The Strokes' 'Is This It' was created. Chris Tabron, known for his work with Beyoncé, Die Antwoord, and Battles, helmed the production duties.
The band, comprising Casablancas, guitarist Beardo, guitarist Amir Yaghami, drummer Alex Carapetis, keyboardist Jeff Kite, and bassist Jake Bercovici, made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year, performing their track 'Blue Demon'.
