Kitchen Lover have unleashed their debut album 'The Circus Sideshow Dream'
Brighton producership features Erik Miles, who also performs multiple instruments throughout.

Kitchen Lover have released their debut album, 'The Circus Sideshow Dream', with lead single 'Speaking Tongues' also available now.
The Brighton-based group have worked with producer Erik Miles on the record, whose credits include SOFT PLAY, Baby Dave, and Kate Nash. Miles also contributes bass, organ, keys, and guitar across the album.
The lead track 'Speaking Tongues' sets out the album’s tone. Introducing the single, the band explain: “The song is based on the loose and freeing nature of writing without the pressure to tell a story or for things to make sense. Allowing the mind of the listener and the writer to have absolutely no f**king idea what you’re on about.”
Discussing the wider project, Kitchen Lover add: "The Circus Sideshow Dream is a collection of crooked tales from the crippling circus most of us ‘artists’ are operating in. One minute you’re Jim Morrison at the Hollywood Bowl in ’68, breathing in the roar of 20,000 screaming fans. The next, you’re Ray Heffernan in some dim Irish pub, trying to convince yourself—and anyone who’ll listen—that you’ve written a half-decent song, wondering if drinking yourself to death might be the only encore. It’s a reflection on the brutal highs and lows, the madness we willingly walk into—for the love of art, expression, and that ever-fleeting sense of validation."
