Leigh-Anne has released her latest single,
'Friends', exploring themes of clarity, loyalty, and self-empowerment.
The standalone track - which follows '
Dead and Gone' - is described by
Leigh-Anne as "about trusting your instincts and choosing yourself every time."
The singles arrive in the lead up to the former Little Mixer's debut album '
My Ego Told Me To', out 20th February. The record features collaborations with Clarence “Coffee” Jr., Owen Cutts, Khris Riddick, and Fred Ball, and combines pop, R&B, dancehall, and reggae, reflecting her Caribbean heritage.
Leigh-Anne describes the album as “the truest representation of me as an artist. Versatile, rooted in reggae and my heritage, but stamped with pop. It’s personal and impossible to box in. I wanted it to feel authentic, blending the genres I love with a sound that’s distinctly mine.”
