Lewis Capaldi joins The 1975 as their latest special guest, pretends to be Harry Styles, covers 'Antichrist'
He also did Taylor Swift's 'Love Story', if we weren't already getting dangerously meta.

Lewis Capaldi became the latest star to make a surprise appearance on The 1975's UK tour earlier tonight (25th January) - and, Dear Reader - he was spectacular.
Showing up at the band's Newcastle show, he arrived on stage pretending to be Harry Styles. He then went on to cover The 1975's iconic, legendary, never-bloody-played-live-even-though-we-keep-asking 'Antichrist', and Taylor Swift's 'Love Story'. Yes. Really. He did. Look.

A masterclass. 6 stars out of 5. Make it 7.
Lewis is the third guest star to show up on the UK run, following Taylor Swift's surprise showing in London, and Charli XCX's appearance in Manchester. On the US leg, the band were joined by Phoebe Bridgers and Jack Antonoff.
Tomorrow night, The 1975 hit Liverpool. We have a suggestion...
