Speculation around a 2027 European run for
Oasis has intensified after
Liam Gallagher made a bold promise to fans during a visit to Rome on 23rd April. Asked by one fan whether the band would be in "Roma next year", the frontman was unequivocal: "Without a doubt. 100 per cent."
The remarks are the latest in a string of teases from the Gallagher camp. During the final Wembley date of the band's reunion run in September, Liam told the crowd "See you next year", before theatrically slapping his own wrist for the apparent slip. Guitarist Gem Archer also stoked expectations in December, revealing that
Noel Gallagher had quipped there is "no rest for the immensely talented". And when someone asked Liam back in November whether he felt "sad that the tour is ending soon", his response was characteristically cryptic: "I'm not actually, as I know things you don't know".
Oasis completed their 41-date Live 25 reunion tour last year, taking in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. Liam subsequently ruled out returning to the road in 2026 but left the door open for 2027, while also dismissing any prospect of a Knebworth return.
Separately, it has been confirmed that Oasis are to be inducted into the Rock Hall at a ceremony in Los Angeles this November. The band were nominated for a third time earlier this year, following previous nods in 2024 and 2025. Liam's relationship with the institution has been characteristically combative — he previously called it "full of BUMBACLARTS" and later declared it was "for WANKERS". Upon learning of the induction, he credited his "reverse psychology vibes" and revealed his mother has told him to "stop being a dick" and attend the ceremony.
