Little Simz has booked two UK arena shows ahead of her new album ‘Lotus’

Mercury Prize winner Little Simz announces Manchester and London arena shows for October, supporting her upcoming sixth album ‘Lotus’.

Artists: Little Simz

Little Simz has announced her biggest live shows to date, with two UK arena performances scheduled for October.

The Mercury Prize-winning artist will perform at Manchester’s Co-op Live and London’s The O2 in support of her upcoming sixth studio album ‘Lotus’, set for release on 6th June via AWAL Recordings.

The new album features recently released singles ‘Free’ and ‘Flood’, with the former beginning as a poem before being developed into a track featuring production from Miles Clinton James. ‘Flood’ sees Simz collaborate with Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly, accompanied by a video directed by Salomon Ligthelm.

Simz has also been announced as curator of the Southbank Centre’s 30th Meltdown festival, taking place from 12th-22nd June. The 11-day event will feature performances from The Streets, Sasha Keable, Lola Young, Ghetts, and Jon Bapiste, with Simz herself performing alongside Southbank Centre Resident Chineke! Orchestra.
