Liz Lawrence has announced her new album 'Vespers' and shared four early tracks
Written in the aftermath of personal tragedy, the record arrives this June as a deeply personal new chapter.

Liz Lawrence is set to release 'Vespers', her fifth studio album, through Chrysalis Records on 5th June. Written across just three weeks, the record is a deeply personal work honouring Lawrence's sister Jessie, who died at the age of 35.
Jessie was involved in a serious accident in Ireland during the summer of 2024. "What followed was the most profoundly altering period of my life," Lawrence says. "I learned about the beauty of the dying, the resilience of the living and the infinite fountain of love that sustains us."
The album follows 'Peanuts', 'The Avalanche', 'Pity Party' and 'Bedroom Hero' in Lawrence's catalogue, though she describes it as a marked departure. "If you want to understand the change in me, from the person who made Peanuts to the person who wrote Vespers, then this is it. Grief changes you. I don't recognise the person I was before."
Alongside the announcement, Lawrence has released a quartet of tracks - 'Mt. Nephin', 'Where Did You Go', 'Black Ulysses' and 'Sister' - intended to be heard together as a gateway into the album's world.
Two intimate solo performances are planned for June, where Lawrence will play 'Vespers' in full. Pre-sale tickets are available from 10am on Tuesday 7th April, with general sale at 10am on Wednesday 8th April.
The dates in full read:
