Los Campesinos! are set to embark on their longest UK tour since 2017 to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The tour, titled the Vicennial Cringe tour, will see the band playing in various independent venues across the UK in May and June 2026.
The band will offer a £8 ticket option for low-income and unemployed fans. They have also ensured that all venues are accessible, with shows open to fans aged 14 and over.
The band commented, “Los Campesinos! (King of Bands/Your Ex-Girlfriend’s Favourite Band/The UK’s First & Only Emo Band) acknowledge, but absolutely do not celebrate, our band turning 20 years old, with the Vicennial Cringe tour.
"Putting the NO in nostalgia, we begin our third decade as a band in the way we intend to continue it: emoting, dancing, falling in love and sinking pints with fans old and new. No victory laps, just an endless winning streak.
"We’re delighted to be playing a number of our less visited cities including our first trips to Norwich, Newcastle and Liverpool since 2017, and our first time in Exeter, Edinburgh and Nottingham for close to fifteen years. In addition, we’ll play our biggest ever headline in Leeds, and our most intimate show in London for a number of years.
"As always, this tour has been booked adhering to our principles of only playing independent venues and refusing to play venues that take any percentage of a band’s merch sales. All venues are accessible, all shows are 14+ (if not All Ages) and 5% of all tickets are available for just £8 to ensure low income and unemployed fans are more likely to be able to attend the concert.
