Madonna has launched a Grindr takeover with an exclusive 'Confessions II' picture disc
A limited-edition picture disc and in-app content arrive ahead of Pride season.

Ahead of Pride season, Madonna have entered into a collaboration with social networking app Grindr, bringing exclusive content and a limited-edition picture disc of upcoming album 'Confessions II' directly to users of the platform.
The takeover places a dedicated Madonna square within every user's profile grid. Tapping it reveals a personal message from the star: "Hi Grindr. It's Motha. I made an exclusive vinyl of my new album just for you. I could have dropped it anywhere but I wanted to go where the hottest action was, so I got on the grid. Are you ready for Confessions II?"
Beyond the picture disc — which was handpicked by Madonna and remains exclusive to Grindr users — the partnership incorporates location-aware moments tied to the Global Gayborhood feature, along with additional exclusive content drops. Grindr have indicated this is "just getting started", with plans to expand the takeover across further app features and social channels.
'Confessions II' serves as a follow-up to both 2005's 'Confessions On A Dance Floor' and 2019's 'Madame X'. Stuart Price, who produced the original record, returns behind the desk for the sequel. A standard edition will carry 12 tracks, while a deluxe version adds four bonus songs. The album arrives on 3rd July.
Speaking about the record's themes, Madonna has pointed to the opening lines of the track 'One Step Away' as its defining statement: "People think that dance music is superficial, but they've got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it's a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language."
Recent single 'I Feel So Free' received its first play via LGBTQ+ radio station Pride Radio before landing on major streaming platforms. On 17th April, Madonna joined Sabrina Carpenter on stage during weekend two of Coachella, though she has since revealed that clothing items worn during the appearance have gone missing, with a reward now offered for their return.
