Maisie Peters has released her new single, ‘Not Another Rockstar’, and announced a run of intimate UK live shows

  • Finlay Holden
  • October 7, 2022

Maisie Peters has shared a new track, ‘Not Another Rockstar’, with the news of seven new intimate performances in the run-up to her sold-out show at 02 Academy Brixton.

The track is Maisie’s fourth single of 2022, following ‘Cate’s Brother’, ‘Blonde’, and ‘Good Enough’.

Maisie explains: “I wrote ‘Not Another Rockstar’ about my very debatable track record with men. The song aims to make fun of me and my decisions and them and their guitars, and it feels right that I wrote it with Ines who is my best friend because she was literally rolling her eyes at every line like ‘too real’. I hope everyone comes out of this song realising the true rockstar was in fact me. Obviously. No longer the rockstar’s girlfriend, we are the whole rockstar these days, girls.”

You can listen to ‘Not Another Rockstar’ here.

With her huge April 2023 show at London’s 02 Academy Brixton already sold out, Maisie has added seven new shows across the country to warm up for the huge career moment.

Ticket pre-sale will commence next Wednesday, 12th October, for those signed up to Maisie Peter’s Discord. General sale will follow next Friday, 14 October, via her official site.

Maisie also recently announced that she will be supporting Ed Sheeran on his huge North America tour next summer.
