mary in the junkyard have dropped
'Candelabra', a new offering lifted from their upcoming debut record '
Role Model Hermit', which arrives on 3rd July through AMF Records. A performance video starring vocalist and multi-instrumentalist
Clari Freeman-Taylor accompanies the release.
Originally penned when Freeman-Taylor was just seventeen, the track represents one of the earliest entries in her songwriting catalogue. Speaking about the song, she says: "Candelabra was written many years ago, it was one of my first sad songs…. it has got all of my teenage angst written into it".
'Candelabra' follows '
Crash Landing', which arrived back in March when the trio first confirmed details of the album.
To mark the release of 'Role Model Hermit', the band are heading out on a run of UK in-store appearances throughout early July.
