Mary In The Junkyard have announced their debut album, 'Role Model Hermit'
The Oli Bayston-produced record follows the trio's 2024 EP 'This Old House', with lead single 'Crash Landing' streaming now.

UK trio Mary In The Junkyard have revealed details of their debut album. 'Role Model Hermit' will arrive this summer through AMF, with new track 'Crash Landing' serving as the record's lead single.
Produced by Oli Bayston, the eleven-track record serves as the follow-up to the band's 2024 EP 'This Old House'. Amongst the songs sitting alongside 'Crash Landing' on the tracklist are 'Myrtle', 'Peter The Dog', 'Welcome Break' and 'Thou Shalt Sprout'.
Bandleader Clari-Freeman Taylor explains the themes behind the new single: "It's about fear and how men often rely on keeping their emotions secret, and how you have to crack them open. To be the only one that's seeing one side of someone, it's trapping."
An accompanying music video for 'Crash Landing', directed by Maisy Banks and Jacob Ray, has also been shared. The band have additionally lined up a string of in-store appearances across the UK. The dates in full read:
