Moreish Idols have released a new single,
'Pale Blue Dot'. The track is set to feature on a 7" out 1st October via Speedy Wunderground, which will also include an exclusive Dan Carey dub remix titled 'Pale Blue Dub'.
Speaking about the single, Moreish Idols explain: "Pale Blue Dot has been through many iterations, from simple drum machine / guitar demo, to evil krautrock demon hellscape. A spontaneous decision led by Dan Carey brought us to his studio at 8 in the morning to quickly run the song in a new, shortened arrangement, played on acoustic guitars and simplified down to its bare bones. It was a beautiful morning, and we all felt we were hearing the song the way it was meant to be heard: just straight to the point.
The South London band's latest track follows their two EPs 'Float' and 'Lock Eyes and Collide'.
The single marks Speedy Wunderground's 50th 7" release. To celebrate, the label will host a release party at London's Shacklewell Arms on 30th September, featuring sets from special guests Disgusting Sisters and Speedy Wunderground alumni.
