Muse have announced a surprise Brixton Academy show, their first there in over 20 years

Muse are set to return to the stage with a surprise London date at the O2 Academy Brixton on 3rd April, Good Friday. It will be the band's first appearance in the capital since performing at The O2 in autumn 2023, and their first live outing of the year.

Notably, the venue holds significant history for the trio - they haven't performed at Brixton Academy since a two-night residency back in May 2001, which took place shortly before second album 'Origin Of Symmetry' arrived.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the band unveiling new single 'Be With You' alongside details of tenth album 'The WOW! Signal', which is set for release on 26th June through Warner. The record serves as the follow-up to 2022's 'Will Of The People' and draws its name from a mysterious 72-second radio burst detected in 1977, originating from the constellation Sagittarius.

Those wanting to attend the Brixton date can access a pre-sale from 10am GMT on 25th March by pre-ordering 'The WOW! Signal' via the band's official store. General sale tickets then become available at 10am GMT on 27th March.

The details are:
