Muse have shared 'Cryogen', the latest preview of new album 'The Wow! Signal'
The Devonshire trio's tenth record arrives later this summer.

Muse have dropped a new track called 'Cryogen', offering another glimpse of their forthcoming tenth studio album 'The Wow! Signal'. The Devonshire trio first performed the song at their recent intimate gig at Brixton Academy in London, and it has now received its official release.
Built around a searing guitar introduction, the track channels elements from across the band's catalogue, nodding to the sonic territory of 'Origin Of Symmetry' and 'Black Holes & Revelations'. Dan Lancaster, who serves as a live member of the group and has previously been behind the desk for Bring Me The Horizon and Blink-182, handled production duties alongside Aleks von Korff.
'Cryogen' arrives as the third preview from the record, following 'Unravelling', which surfaced last year, and the lead single 'Be With You'.
The album's title references a 72-second radio burst picked up in 1977 from the constellation Sagittarius — a signal whose bandwidth and intensity pointed towards a possible extraterrestrial origin. The astronomer responsible for the discovery circled the sequence '6EQUJ5' on the printout and scrawled 'WOW!' next to it, lending the mysterious transmission its enduring name.
Alongside the album, which lands on 26th June, Muse have confirmed a 2026 North American arena tour featuring support from Bloc Party, The Temper Trap and Portugal. The Man. Frontman Matt Bellamy teased further plans during the Brixton show, telling the crowd that the band would be back in November, with UK and European dates anticipated in due course.
