My Chemical Romance have announced a North American 'The Black Parade' stadium tour for summer 2025

My Chemical Romance have performed unreleased track ‘War Beneath the Rain’ during their show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.

The performance came as part of their Long Live The Black Parade Tour, which sees the band performing their 2006 album ‘The Black Parade’ in full alongside other material from their catalogue.

Speaking about the track, Gerard Way explained: “I don’t remember how long ago it was, but before the band broke up, we had a studio in North Hollywood and we were making a record that never came out. And this was one of the songs we really loved from it. It was just us in the studio with our friend Doug McKean, he was there recording it. His family’s here tonight, I want this to go out to them.”

The song originates from sessions for the band’s unreleased fifth album ‘The Paper Kingdom’, which was in progress before their 2013 break-up. The only other track to emerge from these sessions was ‘Fake Your Death’, which appeared on their 2014 compilation album ‘May Death Never Stop You’.
