Nell Mescal has unveiled ‘Kissing the Ground’, a new track about overwhelming thoughts
The new material follows writing sessions in Nashville and extensive touring.

Nell Mescal has kicked off the year with a brand new single, 'Kissing the Ground'.
The track arrives after a busy stretch that saw her complete her biggest headline tour to date across the UK and Ireland, as well as supporting both HAIM and Sigrid on the road.
Discussing what inspired the song, Mescal explains: "'Kissing the Ground' is a song about feeling so anxious that you may never come down to earth again. It's about overthinking and wondering how other people can remain so calm when you feel like you are unravelling. I wrote it as a way of understanding myself a bit more through the overwhelming thoughts that creep in."
