Nova Twins are teasing their third album
'Parasites & Butterflies', set for release on 29th August via Marshall Records, with new single
'Piranha'.The track follows recent singles '
Monsters' and '
Soprano', and was recorded in Vermont, USA with producer Rich Costey, known for his work with Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, and Sam Fender.
"This track explores growing tensions around the world, which can feel overwhelming at times, leaving you unsure of where to start,"
Nova Twins share. "It delves into themes of confrontation, rebellion, and fear. Using imagery of predatory waters, it symbolises vulnerability, power, and questioning authority. 'Piranha' also reflects society's cutthroat nature, but emphasises coming together and supporting each other. There is strength in unity."
'Parasites & Butterflies' features twelve tracks, including '
Glory', '
Drip', '
N.O.V.A', '
Sandman', '
Hummingbird', '
Parallel Universe', '
Hide & Seek', '
Hurricane', and '
Black Roses'.
