Olivia Rodrigo has landed a dual role as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live
Her third album arrives in June, with lead single 'drop dead' out next week.

Olivia Rodrigo is joining the growing list of artists to both host and perform on the same episode of Saturday Night Live, with her appearance scheduled for 2nd May.
It will be a familiar setting for Rodrigo, who has graced the SNL stage twice before. Her first appearance came in May 2021, following a sketch on the show that had referenced her breakout single 'drivers license'. A second stint as musical guest followed in December 2023, during which she also delivered a few lines in a sketch.
Her upcoming third studio album 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love' arrives in June via Geffen, though it won't have landed by the time of the broadcast. Lead single 'drop dead' drops next week.
Later in the month, SNL continues with Matt Damon hosting on 9th May alongside musical guest Noah Kahan, before Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney take over proceedings on 16th May.
