Only Real, the musical project of Niall Galvin, has returned with ‘Good Morning’.
His first new single in nine years, the new track showcases Galvin’s signature style, following his 2015 album ‘Jerk At The End Of The Line’.
He describes the song’s meaning, saying, “On the surface ‘Good Morning’ is a song about love, heartbreak and coming through the other side – however through the writing process I realised I was subconsciously telling the story of what I went through with Only Real – the highs, the lows and ultimately finding a new peace afterwards.
“In this sense the sentiment is uplifting which matches the feel good catchy nature of the song. In signature Only Real style It combines a raw and intimate vocal with woozy guitars and lively characterful drum sampling.”
During his nine-year hiatus from public releases, Galvin has worked behind the scenes composing for brands and film.
