Phoebe Bridgers is confirmed to join Danny Elfman for two UK performances of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas Live’

Phoebe Bridgers is set to voice Sally in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas Live’ for two UK shows this December, joining Danny Elfman’s Jack Skellington.

Announced via social media last night, the seasonal film will be shown on the big screen alongside a live orchestra at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Friday 9th & Saturday 10th December.

She will be joining @dannyelfman as Jack Skellington and Ken Page as Oogie Boogie!

Danny Elfman composed the music and lyrics for the 1993 Tim Burton-directed film, and will reprise his role of Jack Skellington. Phoebe Bridgers will join as Sally, who was originally voiced by Catherine Anne O’Hara. Ken Page will return as Oogie Boogie, with the BBC Concert Orchestra providing a soundtrack under the direction of John Mauceri.

Billie Eilish voiced Sally for last year’s rendition of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas Live’, which was performed in Los Angeles at the Banc of California Stadium. Similarly, the event was held twice – on Friday, October 29th 2021, and Sunday, October 31st 2021. You can view approved fan footage of the show below:
