Synthpop duo
Purity Ring have dropped a brand new track titled 'lemonlime', which explores the emotional weight of caring for someone living with a chronic illness.
The song was originally the first to be written during sessions for the duo's 2025 self-titled album, though it didn't make the final tracklist. The track features lyrics that capture the bittersweet nature of that experience, with lines including: I'm a mirror mirror of you/ Without body we're the same/ Now I'm tired, but I'll hold on to you/ As if nothing, nothing's changed.
Its arrival coincides with preparations for the duo's '
Place of My Own' tour, a run of dates spanning North America, Australia, the UK, and Europe throughout the spring and summer.
