pyncher have signed to Heist or Hit and released ‘One Day’, inspired by growing apart
A broken pedal accident shaped the guitar solo on their latest track.

Manchester four-piece pyncher have announced their signing to Heist or Hit, the label home to Westside Cowboy, Her's and ladylike. To mark the occasion, the band have shared new single 'One Day'.
Recorded at The Nave in Leeds with producer Alex Greaves, a happy accident during the recording sessions saw guitarist Harvey O'Toole discover a broken pedal, which ended up providing the distinctive sound behind the track's guitar solo.
Speaking about the meaning behind the song, vocalist Sam Blakeley explains: "The song is about people growing apart. And how you can't really do much to stop it happening. There's longing in the lines but also acceptance. We all change and grow and I think this song is me getting my head around that."
The group have a busy schedule ahead with UK and European dates supporting The Sophs followed by a string of festival slots through the summer months.
