Rockaway Beach has unveiled 2027's first lineup additions with The Charlatans, SPRINTS and more
The Twilight Sad close the weekend alongside Cockney Rejects, Bis and more.

Rockaway Beach have revealed the opening batch of artists set to perform at their 2027 edition, with a bill spanning established names and newer acts across a three-day programme.
Friday's opening night will feature a co-headline slot shared between Bristol's Getdown Services and Dublin post-punk outfit SPRINTS. Festival founder Ian Crowther said: "For the first time, we're showcasing a co-headline programme on the opening night giving two bands the status they deserve. Getdown Services and SPRINTS share a punk attitude and energy that sets them apart."
Saturday sees The Charlatans top the bill. Crowther said: "The Charlatans have soundtracked so many of our lives. Forty years on they're still creating amazing new music. I don't know how they did it, but last year's album was one of their best."
Closing the weekend on Sunday are The Twilight Sad, who are currently out on tour with The Cure. Crowther described them as "an almost overwhelming force on stage", adding: "When I heard the first tracks from their new album I knew that now was the right time for a headline performance at Rockaway Beach."
Joining them across the weekend are Cockney Rejects, Bis, Alien Chicks, Cowboy Hunters, Mouth Ulcers, Nightbus, Pigeon, and BBC 6music DJs Chris Hawkins and Steve Lamacq. Further additions are expected in due course.
Entering its 12th year, the weekender holds a capacity of roughly 3,600 people. Organisers have noted that 75% of tickets and rooms are already accounted for, following three successive sold-out editions. Accommodation comes bundled with ticket prices, beginning at £99 per person for three nights.
A newly introduced live space called Studio 36 brings upgraded sound and visuals to the site, sitting alongside Centre Stage and REDS, which host club sets and late-night parties. Away from the stages, attendees can take part in Q&As, record signings, a record fair, silent discos, day raves, pub quizzes, and make use of Butlin's swimming complex and spa.
