Rostam has announced his new album 'American Stories' featuring Clairo and more
The album will be released via Matsor Projects later this year.
This marks his first album since 2021's 'Changephobia', and the announcement coincides with the release of the album's lead single, 'Like a Spark'.
Rostam describes the album as a reflection of his dual identity as Iranian and American. "At some point in making this record I realised the album I wanted to make was one that reflected my identity as both Iranian and American. Pushing the most Iranian elements right up against the most American ones brought me a certain kind of joy," he explains.
'American Stories' includes collaborations with various artists such as Clairo, Amir Yaghmai, Daniel Aged, Paul Cartwright, Gabe Noel, Hamilton Berry, Henry Solomon and others.
