A fresh cut from Ariana Grande titled 'Hate That I Made You Love Me' is on the way, serving as the lead offering from her upcoming third studio LP 'Petal'.
Posting on Instagram, the singer shared a monochrome image of herself, captioning it with what looks to be a line from the new song: "cause i barely tried." She later reposted the image to her Story alongside a countdown to the single's arrival.
A short clip of the track surfaced on 18th May, though that earlier preview contained no vocals or words, instead hinting at the song's instrumental textures.
Speaking about the wider record in an Instagram video, Grande said the album is "a little feral … definitely from a place I've been maybe too shy or polite to tap into before." 'Petal' will comprise 12 songs in total.
The release coincides with Grande's return to the live circuit, with her Eternal Sunshine Tour marking her first outing in six years.
