Sabrina Carpenter, Paul McCartney and Paul Simon join SNL 50th anniversary concert lineup

The newly announced performers will join the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Robyn and more.

Saturday Night Live have announced additional performers for their 50th anniversary special, with Paul McCartney, Sabrina Carpenter, and Paul Simon joining the line-up.

The three-hour primetime special, set to take place on 16th February at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, will combine musical performances with live sketches featuring past and present SNL cast members.

The newly announced performers will join previously confirmed artists including Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, Brittany Howard, and The Roots. The event marks a notable appearance for Simon, who has largely stepped back from live performances since 2023 due to severe hearing loss. Simon’s connection to SNL spans multiple decades, having hosted four times and appeared as musical guest on 13 occasions.

The special will also feature performances from Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile, Chris Martin, David Byrne, Jack White, Robyn, Arcade Fire, Bonnie Raitt, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and The B-52s. Dave Grohl, SNL’s most frequent musical guest with 15 appearances, has also been added to the line-up.

Jimmy Fallon will host the anniversary special, with Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson serving as executive producers. The event forms part of SNL’s ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, which began with the launch of their 50th season in September.
