Saloon Dion sign with Nice Swan Records, drop new single ‘Hey Hey’

It’s about everyone being a bit of good and bad, when it comes down to it.

Artists: Saloon Dion

Saloon Dion (geddit? – Ed) have signed to Nice Swan Records, and dropped their third single, ‘Hey Hey’.

Inking with the previous-slash-current-slash-one-of-the-above home to bands like Sports Team, Pip Blom, English Teacher and Hotel Lux, it follows on from their singles ‘Deal Or No Deal’ and ‘VHS’.

“None of us can claim to be perfect, we are all capable of both good and bad,” explains singer and synth player Dave Sturgess. “I found it interesting when writing this song to think about where certain traits of mine came from. There have certainly been times when I’ve stood by people who didn’t necessarily deserve it, and vice versa.

“We all carry with us certain destructive behaviours that can be damaging to ourselves and those around us if unchecked.”

Like, some of us can claim to be perfect – we’re amazing. But sure lads. Guess you have a point.
