The song was previously an exclusive for Record Store Day 2022. The group released a 7" blue vinyl for the annual event, but following fan demand, have gone and released it as a single.
Talking about the decision to release 'DNA', Sea Girls said: "We read your tweets, replied to DMs and loved all your comments about DNA and released it for you! We made this video on a day off from tour in Zurich."
