Sir Chloe has announced second album ‘Swallow The Knife’ and a North American tour

Sir Chloe is set to release their second full-length album ‘Swallow The Knife’ on 22nd August, alongside announcing a 36-date North American headline tour.

The new record, produced by Steph Marziano, features drums from Sarah Jones across the majority of tracks. Sir Chloe, the moniker of vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Dana Foote, performs vocals, guitars, and synth throughout the 11-track album, which was recorded in London.

The announcement arrives alongside new single ‘The Hole’. “At the time I wrote this song I was in a deep, dark, ugly place with no escape in sight,” Foote explains. The track was inspired by an exhibition at MASS MOCA by Taryn Simon called ‘The Cold Hole’. “It was a snow covered room with a deep black circular ice plunge in the middle. Museumgoers could volunteer to plunge while viewers watched as though it were a zoo exhibit. After I saw ‘The Cold Hole,’ I called the deep dark winters of our lives ‘The Hole’.”
