Skepta has shared his three-track EP 'Más Tiempo Vol. 2' alongside a 'Fork And Knife' album update
In an interview with Esquire UK, he confirmed the project is close to being finished.

Ahead of a 23-week Saturday residency at Hï Ibiza's Club Room this summer, Skepta has put out a new house-leaning EP through his own Más Tiempo label. Titled 'Más Tiempo Vol. 2', the release features three tracks: 'Do It SK', 'The Whistle Tune' and 'Play Me Right'.
Perhaps more significantly, the Tottenham MC has also provided a detailed update on forthcoming album 'Fork And Knife', which will be his first full-length since 2019's 'Ignorance Is Bliss'. In an interview with Esquire UK, he confirmed the project is close to being finished.
"Seventeen tracks are chosen now," he said. "A lot of the stuff on there is music I've made travelling the world, booking studios here and there when I can. A lot of it has that celebratory energy I get when I'm travelling. Now I'm just adding the finishing touches."
On striking a balance between dancefloor energy and more meaningful content, he continued: "As well as the celebratory music, I want some conscious stuff on there too. Especially right now… I feel like it's an important time to be saying things and not bringing out an album that's tone-deaf to the world. So, I'm adding some depth. There's a lot of party music on there. I'm essentially a festival artist, so I make music for shows and clubs. I'm just making sure I cover all ground and speak for the voiceless."
The album's name carries personal significance rooted in his upbringing. "The whole idea behind 'Fork and Knife' is about being a child of immigrants – that simple ambition of wanting to eat well and sit at the table with cutlery. That was the inspiration."
Beyond the Ibiza dates, Skepta's summer schedule includes appearances at both Reading & Leeds Festival and Parklife in Manchester, where he is among the headliners.
