Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced a series of record store performances and signings across the UK to celebrate the release of her eighth studio album
'Perimenopop', due 12th September.
The tour includes a mixture of signing events and live performances, beginning in Manchester on 9th September, with stops in Liverpool, Southampton, Oxford, Birmingham, Coventry, Nantwich, Brighton and Kingston. A special Q&A session will take place at London's HMV Oxford Street on 13th September. The dates follow Ellis-Bextor's album launch show at London's KOKO on 8th September.
'Perimenopop' features previously released tracks '
Freedom of the Night', '
Relentless Love', and '
Vertigo'. The album sees Ellis-Bextor collaborate with MNEK and Jon Shave on recent single '
Taste'. 'Freedom of the Night', which was A-listed at Radio 2, saw Ellis-Bextor reunite with collaborator Sophie Muller for its video.
Following the record store dates, Ellis-Bextor will embark on a European headline tour.
