Sorry have returned with their new single ‘Waxwing’.
The song – which references Toni Basil‘s 80s hit ‘Hey Mickey’ – marks their first new song in two years, and is accompanied by a video directed and produced by FLASHA.
Vocalist and lead-songwriter Asha Lorenz comments on the track: “Mickey is desire ? Mickey is the bomb? Mickey makes me money? Mickey makes my songs? Mickey makes a poem? Mickey in the drugs ? Mickey is liar ? Mickey making love? Mickey is desire ?”
Sorry are set to support Fontaines D.C. on their UK and Irish tour in November and December 2024.
